Leitrim Ladies Notes

[b]TG4 Connacht Championship:[/b]
Leitrim take on Roscommon in a first round game in pool B of the Ladies Connacht Junior Championship on Saturday next. The game is scheduled as a home game for Leitrim but a venue has yet to be confirmed. Having been defeated in four of the last five finals, new Manager Jason Tanaine will be hoping to change the fortunes of the team in this years championship. There are a number of new faces 2006 which has added a freshness to the panel and competition for starting places has never been keener. Best of luck to all concerned.

[b]Colleges All Star:[/b]
Congratulations to Cloone and Leitrim player Aoife Kelly who picked up a replacement award on the Third Level Colleges representative team last weekend when representing Cavan.

[b]Club Leagues:[/b]
The postponed Division 2 games rescheduled for Sunday were unable to be played again due to poor weather conditions.
