Vhi Cul Camps
Our Vhi GAA Cul camps have commenced with camps in Manorhamilton, Ck on Shannon and Aughawillan. Next weeks camps will be held in Mohill, Drumshanbo and Kinlough. Parents are reminded that they can still register for the camps.
The following is the full list of our Vhi Cul camps for this year.
July 2nd 6th Ck-on-Shannon, Manorhamilton and Aughawillan
July 9th 13th Mohill, Kinlough and Drumshanbo
July 16th 20th Aughavas, Gortletteragh and Dromahair
July 23rd 27th Fenagh, Drumkeerin and Ck-on-Shannon.
Congrats to Brian Kiernan from Drumbreanlis, Carrigallen who was the winner of the free place in last weeks Observer competition. Brian will be attending our camp in Aughavas. Check out this weekâs competition and you could be our next winner. John Mc Keon and Sinead Brennan will be our Vhi Cul camp ambassadors for 2007 and along with other members of our County teams will visit the camps to meet the children and have a chat.
Under 14 Football School of Excellence
Our under 14 school of excellence continues on Saturday morning next 07/07 at 10.30 am in Drumkeerin. Please note the earlier starting time and as a result buses will run a half hour earlier than usual. The following players are asked to attend:

Feile Peil na nÓg
Congrats to all concerned with making Feile such a hugh success, Clubs, Host families and the hard working Feile committee. A special congrats to the Drumreilly/Aughawillan team on winning the division 6 final played first on Sunday morning. Had seen this team in action in the group stage in Gortletteragh and also in their semi final in Dromod and was very impressed. Well done to all involved with the team.
Under 15 Residential School of Excellence
Ten of our under 15 footballers and five of our hurlers took part in a residential school of excellence, held in NUI Galway last week. We would like to congratulate the fifteen players selected and compliment them on the way they conducted themselves, both on and off the field, while representing their County. Well done lads. All results from the various fitness tests etc. should be available shortly.

National Hurling Blitz weekend
The weekend of 25-26/08/07 has been designated National hurling Blitz weekend and Leitrim will host a blitz for weaker Counties at under 14 level. Full details will be published during the next few weeks.
