Firstly this week a sincere thank you to Des Newton for a very interesting workshop on Wednesday evening last. Des conducted this workshop, even though his brother Paul was seriously ill in hospital. Thankfully, Paul is making steady progress and we wish him a full and speedy recovery. Also word of thanks to the Community school for the use of their facilities on the evening.
Hurling workshop – Wednesday 30/04/08 @ 8pm. – Ballinamore – Integrated Hurling fitness drills – Damien Coleman & Paudi Butler will conduct this workshop with the County senior hurlers and all coaches should ensure that they do not miss this opportunity to observe top class coaching and fitness training combined within a session.

The first of our under 8 & 10 blitz take place this Saturday, commencing at 10.30am approx.. Please note blitz are on a home and away basis so host club on Saturday will travel on Saturday week. Full list for Saturday as follows – host club named first.

Hurling gear promotion.
To assist everybody interested in the promotion of hurling within the County, we have put together a very special deal with a number of suppliers of hurling gear and can now offer fully approved hurling helmets at the bargain price of € 50.00 each and full size hurley’s at € 14.00 each. Vhi GAA Cul Camps 2008
Application forms and information leaflets will have been distributed to all schools this week. We would urge parents to return their forms as quickly as possible as this will greatly assist with the smooth running of our camps. Following is the list of camp dates and venues.
