Ronnie Delany Special Guest at Golf Classic
Coiste Chontae Liatroma would like to record our sincere thanks to Barry Donnellan and his hard working committee for having organised the Leitrim Golf Classic in Edmondstown golf Club on May 18th. Once again the annual outing was a great success and we would like to acknowledge the generous sponsorship of the main tournament sponsor Joe Leydon and also to Mel Sorohan for his sponsorship. Attendees at the post tournament dinner were delighted to have the opportunity to meet with Ronnie Delany, Irelands Olympic 1500m gold medal winner in Melbourne in 1956 who was Joe Leydons special guest.
