Drumkeerin Club Notes – 15/08/17
Intermediate: the lads got there first championship win of 2017 beating Aughvas on Sunday last in Carrick they now play Eslin on the weekend of the 25th of August.
Junior: the juniors lost to a very strong Melvin Geals team on Sunday last. They now play Kiltubrid this Sunday in the last game of the group in Drumshanbo at 12.30pm
Camp: a huge well done to everyone involved in the Drumkeerin GAA camp that was held last week especially Emer and David Moran for organising it. Thanks to the coaches on each day as well for there help. Thanks to County Star Shane Moran for attending on Friday. Everyone really enjoyed the week and are already looking forward to next year.
Lotto: there was no jackpot winner of €2450 the numbers drawn were 9,15,21,25 the five €20 winners were Marion McCauley, Sean Glynn, Abbey Gilhooly, Claire Rooney, Thomas McHugh
U13: hard luck to the boys who lost to Dromahair last Friday in the championship
U11: thanks to the Ballinaglera club for inviting us to take part in a festival match last Sunday all the players really enjoyed the game
Festival: best of luck to the community family festival for the week ahead. There is a great line up this year. We hope to see large crowds over the week.
