Club Draw & Awards Night – Tickets for the 2018 Club Draw are currently available from Club members and once again for just €20 you are guaranteed entry in all 12 monthly draws. The first draw of the year takes place this Saturday, January 27th in the Copper Still; music on the night and all sellers are reminded to have their tickets returned well in advance of the night. That night we will also be presenting our 2017 Awards including the Players’ of the Year and the Club Person of the year. We look forward to seeing you there!
Underage Indoor Programme – The Club will be running an indoor football programme for its underage players, starting on Saturday, February 10th and running for 5 weeks. The programme will be rolled out in the Mohill Sports Complex and will focus on core football skills and agility. The cost will be €10 per child for the 5 weeks (€25 for a family of 3 children or more). 5-7-year-olds will be from 10.30am to 11.10am, 8-9-year-olds will be accommodated between 11.15am and 11.55am and 10-11 Yr olds from 12pm to 12.45pm. If you are interested, please come along to the Bornacoola GAA clubhouse for registration night on Thursday 01st Feb 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm to book your place. Scór – The County Finals of Scór Sinsear take place on February 24th. Bornacoola are hoping to enter in a number of disciplines. If you have an interest in participating, please contact Aidan Dockery on 085 2485973
Sympathy – We wish to offer our sympathy to the Mitchell Family Drumreilly and the Healy family, Cloontumpher on the death of Caroline’s mother Theresa who passed to her eternal reward last week. Also to Leitrim County Secretary Attracta O ‘Reilly on the passing of her mother Kathleen Mc Dermott, Drumlion on Wednesday last. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad beirt.
Texas Hold Em – There will be another poker night in the Clubhouse on Friday, February 16th next. Doors open at 8.30pm and play gets underway at 8.45pm. Refreshments will be served on the night – only €20 to play, plus buybacks. All welcome.
Membership – Membership for 2018 is now open – Adult Playing Membership (which includes Gym access – Ladies, Men and Mothers and Others)) is €100 (€40 for Students), Non-playing members – €20, and non-playing membership (with gym access fee) – €100. Membership can be paid to Brian Mallon or Damien Mc Guinness.
