St Patrick’s Dromahair GAA Club Notes 08/01/2018
Operation Transformation – Registration for 2018 6 Week Programme will take place on Sunday 14th January at 12.15 pm in Dromahair Park. This will be followed by Operation Transformation National Walk which will commence at 1pm from the park. This walk is free and open to anyone who wishes to take part.
After a very successful Operation Transformation 2017, Dromahair Ladies and Mens GAA are hosting Operation Transformation 2018 commencing on Tuesday 16th January.
This programme is suitable for the complete beginner through to a more athletic person wanting to improve their fitness levels. Classes will be conducted under the supervision of Sue, Declan and David.
This year’s Tuesday Class will be a mixed class with beginner and advanced programmes to suit your levels of fitness.
Operation Transformation 2018 ” 6 Week Programme” commences week beginning Tuesday 16th January.
Cost €50 for 6-week programme
TUESDAYS Ladies and Men’s Fitness Class (with 2 levels beginners and advanced)
VENUE St Clares Comprehensive School Gym Manorhamilton
TIME 7.30 to 8.30pm
WEIGH IN This is optional and will start at 7pm before class.
SATURDAYS MORNINGS – Ladies and Mens Bootcamp in Dromahair Park Time 9 to 10 am.
TUESDAY CLASS CONTENT – Cardio: Benefits to help improve health and fitness, help with weight loss and fat burning.
Muscular/Strength/Endurance: Improve strength and achieve optimal muscle tone
SATURDAY MORNING BOOTCAMP – Outdoor exercises to improve fitness levels in a circuit style workout.
Scor na nOg – The Leitrim Scor na nOg quiz took place on Friday January 5th in The Mayflower, Drumshanbo. We were represented by Liam Torsney, Alan Kavanagh, Shane Conlon and Conor Torsney who performed admirably. Well done lads.
Club Meeting – There will be a club meeting in The Depot on Sunday 14th January at 7.30pm. All members are asked to attend.
