Aughavas GAA Club Notes 12/02/2018
LOTTO – There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot on Tuesday 6th last. The numbers drawn were 2-4-7-5-0-1-3-6. €30 winners were Con Cashin, Jayne Charles, Martin McIntyre, Kathleen Moran and Ann Gallogly. The house prize sponsored by The Dugout was won Breege Brady. The next draw is Saturday 17th February with Colm and Gerry’s team hosting. The Lotto jackpot will be €10,200. Envelopes €2 or three for €5. If you’re not in you can’t win!
REGISTRATION – Club membership is now due. For members who haven’t already paid their registration, there will be an opportunity to pay on Sunday 18th February from 12.30pm to 1.15pm in the Clubrooms. Registration for 2018 – Senior Players €50, Student €25, Underage 20 and Gym membership outside parish €100.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – MJs Bar, Carrigallen will be holding a Sponsorship night on Saturday 24th February for Aughavas GAA Club. Please come out and support this event.
LEITRIM SUPPORTERS TICKETS – We have received our allocation of Leitrim Supporters tickets which are available for sale from all committee members. Tickets cost €50 – First prize is €5,000. We would be grateful if you buy tickets from Aughavas committee members. The draw will take place on Sunday 10th March in Cox’s Steakhouse.
SYMPATHY – Aughavas GAA Club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the Conefrey Family, Lisgillock and Edgeworthstown on the death of their granddaughter/daughter Ciara Conefrey, the Kiernan family Carrigallen on the death of their daughter Fiona, the Carthy Family, Aughavas on the death of Margaret Shaloo (nee Carthy), New Jersey and Marion McCabe on the death of her Uncle Gerard Reilly. May they Rest in Peace.
