Swan Bar Division 3 – The lads had a good win at home on Saturday against Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher on a scoreline of 4-09 to 0-09. Please check fixtures but we may have a match away to Gortletteragh this weekend. Best of luck to all concerned.
Newtowngore Engineering U-17 League – The U-17’s are fixed to play Leitrim Gaels in Leitrim Village on Saturday morning at 11am. Best of luck to Mickey, Fergus, Noel and the team..
Barna Recycling U-13 League: The U-13’s snatched a late equaliser through Padraig Kane to share the spoils with Kiltubrid at home on Sunday on a scoreline of 3-11 to 4-08. Best of luck to Cyril, Kenneth, Richard & the lads in the next round.
St. Francis Ladies – The ladies got their league campaign off to a winning start with victory over Fenagh in the pitch on Sunday morning. Well done to Paul, Gareth & the team.
U-14 Girls – The girls got off to a good start with a win over Dromahair in St. Osnat’s pitch on Saturday. Well done to the squad & to Dermot & Ruth.
Mothers and Others – Gaelic Football training resumes this Wednesday 14th of March in The Mayflower at 8pm. Anyone with an interest in learning new skills or those who may have played previously are welcome to join. It’s a great opportunity to get fit, have fun and make new friends! All are welcome.
25 Card Drive – Allen Gaels 25 Card Game continues every Sunday evening in Aras Phadraig at 8:30pm. Refreshments served. All welcome.
Leitrim Supporters Club Draw – We had no winner in the draw at the weekend. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets.
Lotto: There was no winner of the lotto jackpot & the numbers drawn were 01-06-07-27. The 5 prize winners of €20 each were: Maura Dwyer, Drumcong; Maeve Daly, Drumshanbo; Bridie Flanagan, Cortober; Padraig Sweeney, Mahanagh and Michelle McGovern, Drumshanbo. The jackpot now stands at €3,500.
Table Quiz: St. Francis Ladies will hold a table quiz in the Lough Allen Hotel on Friday March 23rd. Teams of 4 at €40 per table and there will be a raffle & door prize on the night. Please support.
