Aughavas GAA Club Notes 21/03/2018
LOTTO – There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot on Sunday night last in “the Dugout”. The numbers drawn were 4-0-2-3-7-6-1-5. €30 winners were Catriona Brennan, Willie Lyons, James Moran, Gene Maguire, & Turlough Williams. The house prize sponsored by The Dugout was won by Loren Fitzpatrick. The next draw will be Easter weekend in “The Dugout” with Aughavas Players’ team hosting. The Lotto jackpot will be €10,500. Envelopes €2 or three for €5.
FIXTURES – Our Junior Team will play Bornacoola in a home game in Aughavas at 5pm on Saturday 24th March. St Joseph’s U17 will play St Marys in Pairc Naomh Mhuire, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday 24th at 12 noon. St Joseph’s U13’s will also play St Mary’s in Pairc Naomh Mhuire :
TABLE QUIZ – Coiste na Nog annual Table Quiz will take place in Aughavas Community Centre on Good Friday night.
BAKE SALE – St Joseph’s Ladies bake sale will take place on Easter Sunday 1st April in Aughavas GAA club rooms after mass.
THE KUBE – Gerry Gallogly would like to thank everyone who supported his Kube event last Friday night in Lough Rynn. A special thanks to his main sponsors Aughavas GAA club and Pat Mitchell, Mitchell’s Bar & Restaurant Carrigallen. Thanks also to all who took part in the fundraising walk/run and who donated money towards the event. A big thank you to Caroline Beirne who helped out in the fundraising and to Eslin GAA club for a well-run competition which was a huge success on the night and a future fundraiser for our own club.
