Allen Gaels GAA Club Notes 06/04/2018
Dunnes Bar Division 2 – We kicked off our league campaign at home against Mohill on Easter Sunday in the park. We made a slow start against Mohill’s second team and trailed 1-02 to no score after 10 minutes but a Gareth Higgins goal settled the nerves & in the 10 minutes before halftime we hit 2-06 to turn the game around the goals from Thomas Mulvey & Mark Gunning. The halftime score was 3-06 to 1-03 and we added a further 7 points after the break to secure a comfortable win. Scorers were: Nicholas Moore 0-06; Gareth Higgins 1-02; Thomas Mulvey 1-01; Mark Gunning 1-00; Bryan Beirne 0-02; Niall Sorohan 0-01; Martin Raftery 0-01.
