Allen Gaels GAA Club Notes 19/04/2018
Barna Recycling U-13 League Shield Final – Our U13 boys team had a great win in the league final last Saturday against a very good Gortletteragh team. Playing with the advantage of a strong breeze in the first half we had to work hard to get ahead by two points at the break on a scoreline of 1-05 to 1-03. Facing the elements in the second half the lads played with great heart and skill to run out winners on a scoreline of 3-11 to 3-07 despite being nearly caught with 5 minutes remaining. Well done to a great group of lads you have trained hard since January and our commiserations to a very sporting Gortletteragh team.
