Aughnasheelin GAA Club Notes 19/04/2018

Lotto Draw on Sunday, April 22nd in The Commercial – Jackpot €5,375 so make sure and have your Ticket in the Drum. On the Playing Field, we had Gortletteragh at home on Sunday morning – this was a lively affair a game Achadh ná Síleann should have won it was 7points to 5 at the break with Achadh ná Síleann just shading it.  The second half saw Ben McGirl score a good goal followed by another when Barry McWeeney took his penalty well but Gortletteragh picking off some good scores to even it up with the final result Achadh ná Síleann 2 8  –  Gortletteragh 14 pts.  Scorers Barry McWeeney 1 2, Ben McGirl 1goal, Gavin Sammon 2 pts, with Brendan Mulvey, Cathal Egan and Fintan Fitzpatrick with a point each.

Well done to our Bailead Ghrupa – Sheila, Cait, Brendan, Shane and Cormac who performed magnificently at the All Ireland Scor last weekend, unfortunately it wasn’t their day.
