Cloone GAA Club Notes 19/04/2018

DIV 2 League – We had a good win in the Dunne’s Bar Div 2 league, defeating Glencar Manor on a score line of Cloone 2 09 Glencar Manor 0 13. Team C Casey, D Tiernan, A Mulvey, D Tiernan, B Mulvey G Reynolds, D Keegan, E Keegan M Bohan, R Maguire N Quinn M Tiernan, R Mulvey D O Donnell, S Maguire. Subs used D Carberry, C Carberry, and D Brennan. On Saturday evening next we play Leitrim Gaels in Division 4 League in Cloone at 7 pm. All players are asked to be available.

SYMPATHY – We would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the Reynolds family Bornacoola on the sad passing of Shay at the weekend. Shay a true gentleman was a stalwart member of Bornacoola GAA and filled many roles within the GAA at Club, County, and Provincial level, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

LOTTO – There was no winner of the weekly lotto at the weekend, and the numbers drawn were 5, 11, 16 20. The following were winners in the draw. € 50 James and Niamh Dimmock Cloone € 30 Lisa O Donnell € 30 Fr Peter Tiernan P.P. Cloone. Your continued support of the Club lotto is much appreciated.

DATE FOR THE DIARY – Cloone GAA will be hosting a social night in Creegan’s Cloone on Saturday 28th April at which there will be a giveaway of € 300.00. This will be a special night when the club will be having a draw for confined to the yearly Lotto ticket holders. There is still an opportunity to be in that draw by purchasing a yearly club lotto ticket. A night not to be missed
