Leitrim – Best of luck to the Leitrim Team and especially to Ballinamore player Dean McGovern for their championship opener against New York, a special get well soon to Matt Murphy who unfortunately is out injured, we wish him a speedy recovery.

Ballinamore Hurling Club – What a great day our hurlers had at Tain Og in Saturday in Monaghan They played two teams beating Enniskillen and losing out to Edgeworthstown in two competitive games. They meet some of the greats of our national game with lots of advice coming from DJ Carey and David Herity. Thanks so much to Neil, Sandra and Paddy for organising this special day and accompanying our children to Monaghan. The future looks bright for hurling in Leitrim

Ladies Football – Oughteragh Gaels 5-12 Mohil 0-4 Well done to our Ladies, who have booked their place in the 2018 DIV 2 League final!! Leitrim U14 girls – Best of luck to the Leitrim u14 girls and especially the Ballinamore contingent of Mollie Murphy, Emma Honeyman, Kelly Beirne, Laura Maguire and Lizzie O’ Connell and of course the bainisteoir Adrian Murphy as they take on Sligo in the Connacht final on Sunday in Swinford at 1 pm

Under 9 and Nursery – Great evening again on Monday the Páirc with over 40 children taking part in the nursery and the u9 training. Special thanks as ever to the mentors and parents for helping out. A special mention also to a couple of our players Peter Reynolds, Danny Smyth and James Creamer who joined up with us on Monday to help out and pass on their knowledge to the next generation!!
