Lotto – There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot at the weekend, and the following numbers were drawn,4 11 18 20. Golf Classic – Big weekend next weekend as we are holding our Golf Classic in Ballinamore Golf club on Saturday next June 3rd. This promises to be a great occasion for all golfing enthusiasts and some wonderful prizes on offer. The prizes are as follows, 1st prize € 400 plus green fees for Slieve Russel Golf club.2nd prize € 300 plus green fees for Longford Golf Club. 3rd prize €200 plus green fees for Carrick on Shannon Golf club, 4th Prize Golf Polo shirts, 5th Prize box of Golf Balls and gloves, 6th prize Golf umbrellas. 7th prize Green fees for Carrick on Shannon Golf club. There will also be the nearest the pin and the longest drive competitions with four € 50 vouchers as prizes. There will be light refreshments before tee off, a snack bag available for each player and a sit-down meal for each player has finished his/her round. Dunnes Bar Div 2 League – We had no game at the weekend as Melvin Gaels conceded points. Next up this week end its Annaduff and all players are asked to be present.
Connacht Championship – Leitrim bowed out of the Connacht championship at the semi-final stage on Saturday evening last at the hands of Roscommon on a score of 24pts to 10 pts. This is the third year in a row that Roscommon have overcome Leitrim as they now progress to try and retain their Connacht Championship title on Sunday June 17th.
Under 15 – Mohill under 15’s featuring 6 Cloone Players qualified for the under 15 County final by virtue of a great win last week over Glencar Manorhamilton on a scoreline of 5 10 to 05. They now play Allen Gaels in the final and Cloone GAA would urge all supporters to come and cheer the boys. Well done to the team and in particular to the six Cloone boys on the team.
