Drumkeerin GAA Club Notes 28/05/2018

Division 1 –  Our next game will be this weekend, Saturday at 7pm, at home against Ballinaglera. Looking forward to great support as always. Best of luck to all involved.

Division 3 –  Well done to our Junior team on their win over Allen Gaels this afternoon. Leading 0-07 to 0-05 at half time thanks to some great saves from our veteran, Conor Woods, between the sticks. The lads kept the scoreboard ticking over in the second half to secure another two points. They’re now sitting third in the division with three games left to play. Final score Drumkeerin 0-13 Allen Gaels 0-10. Their next game will be away to Eslin’s first team who are sitting at the top of the division, it’s set to take place on the weekend of the 9th of June.

Ladies Table Quiz – Drumkeerin Ladies are holding a table quiz this Friday, the 1st of June, in Davitts Bar starting at 9pm. Raffle on the night also, please support.

Lotto Results – The numbers drawn were 6, 14, 19, 22. There was no jackpot winner of €3450. The five €20 winners were Anthony Mulhern, Flanagan Fallon Kids, Josephine White, McDermott, Creed & Martin c/o Ciaran White), John Ryan and Kevin McPartland

Annual Lotto – yearly lottos are on sale. Sellers are in their final week now and all sales must be returned by Saturday. County Team – Hard luck to the county team on their loss to Roscommon.

Ladies Fitness Class –  it’s the last of the Ladies 6 week fitness class before the summer. Starting Thursday at 8.30pm in ball alley.

U14 girls – our young ladies have their shield final this Thursday, 31st May. We’re awaiting further details on the match but check our social media page for further updates. Best of luck to all involved.
