Connacht SFC Leitrim v Roscommon – Good Luck to the Leitrim team when they take on Roscommon in Pairc Sean on Saturday next. The Club wishes special good luck to Gaels lads Emlyn, Darragh and Cillian.
Dunnes Bar League Game v Aughnasheelin – On Sunday the Senior team had a good win over Aughnasheelin in Melvin Park. Playing without the County players, the Gaels had to dig deep to secure a valuable two points in this game. They got off to a great start and had a five-point lead after the first ten minutes. Aughnasheelin fought back and went into the break leading by two points. In the second half, the Gaels took some good scores and ended up winning on a scoreline of Melvin Gaels 2-10, Aughnasheelin 2-8. Well done to all the players and mentors.
Game at Weekend – The Junior team travel to Cloone for Division 2 League game at 12 noon on Sunday. Good luck to all.

Make Your Mark on the Park Development Fundraising – The work of the Community Development Project will be starting very soon. Melvin Gaels Club is assisting with the fundraising which has started. All Club members, ex-club members, players and ex-players are asked to help in the fundraising which will involve “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, your name on a commemorative plaque. Everyone knows that the facilities at Kinlough are not up to the standards needed to facilitate the Melvin Gaels Club.
