Melvin Gaels GAA Club Notes 28/05/2018
This Week – On Sunday (June 3rd) the Second team take on Glencar/Manorhamilton at 12noon in League Division 2 again in Melvin Park. On Friday (June 1st) the Under 15s take on Fenagh also in Melvin Park. Come out and support all the lads in these games. Good luck to all.
La na gClubanna – On Saturday the Club is holding a fundraising “Funday” from 10am to 1pm. This will involve the usual underage training, games and other fun events for all.
The Club is asking everyone to come along and support this very important event.
Pitch Development Meeting – There will be a very important Community Development meeting at 8.30pm on Wednesday evening in the Community centre. Everyone is asked to make an effort to come along.
Development Project Big Bank Holiday Bingo – The will be a “Big Bank Holiday Community Bingo” in Kinlough Community Centre on Monday night June 4th at 9pm. Prize payout will be €2450 (Last game prize €1000). Books will still be only €10. Proceeds from this Bingo will go to the Community Project. Please support. The Club is asking all members to support this fundraiser.
50/50 Draw – The winner of last week’s draw was, Mary Mc Gowan, Gaelic Park, Bundoran, Mary won €216. Get your ticket now for this week’s draw. You can now play 5050 as a Direct Debit or Annual Ticket. Never miss out on buying your weekly ticket again!!! And if you are away from home, you can still support Melvin Gaels!
Make Your Mark on the Park Development Fundraising – The work of the Community Development Project will be starting very soon. Melvin Gaels Club is assisting with the fundraising which has started. All Club members, ex club members, players and ex players are asked to help in the fundraising which will involve “Make Your Mark on Melvin Park” for €100 which will represent a square of Melvin Park, entry into a draw, prizes 5x €1000, your name on a commemorative plaque. Everyone knows that the facilities at Kinlough are not up to the standards needed to facilitate the Melvin Gaels Club. The Club has been successful over the years on the playing field and we want the facilities planned in this project to match this success. With the help of all the Community this can happen !
