Division 1 – Hard luck to the Senior team who were defeated by Gortletteragh last weekend. Score: Gortletteragh 2-13 Aughawillan 15 points.

Underage – Congratulations to the Aughawillan National School team who won the Schools League Final last week after a very exciting game. Congratulations also to the St Brigid’s u15 team who beat Dromahair in the 13-a-side League Final. Score: St Brigid’s 1-17 Dromahair 3-5. Aughawillan GAA is represented by Patrick McGovern, Andrew McNiffe, Orán Flanagan & Oisin Conefrey.

St. Brigid’s u12 team are currently competing in the Cross-County League Competition. They were defeated in their opening game by Grattan Gaels, Longford. Score: St Brigid’s 7-5 Grattan Gaels 5-16. Next fixtures: Thursday 7th June, St Joseph’s v St Brigid’s at 7.30 in Aughavas; Monday 11th June, St Colmcille’s v St Brigid’s at 7.30 in McGee Park, Aughnacliffe.
