Fenagh St Caillin’s GAA Club Notes 26/06/2018
All Ireland Qualifiers – congrats to the Leitrim team who defeated Louth in last weekend’s clash. Fenagh St Caillins players Donal Wrynn and Ryan O’Rourke starred in the game and Jack Gilheaney has also recently joined the squad. Their reward for winning is a home game against Monaghan on Saturday afternoon next in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada. Best of luck.
Longford Leitrim League – our u12 footballers defeated Glencar Manorhamilton in the semi-final of the Diarmuid McKiernan/Paddy Collum Cup and they now meet Carrick Sarsfields in the final which takes on Thursday evening 28th June at 7.45pm in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada. Good luck lads.
Feile Peil na nOg – our u14 boys travel up North on Friday to represent Leitrim in this years Feile Peil na nOg. On Friday evening they play 2 games in Belfast against Bredagh from Co Down and against Scotland. Our boys are being hosted in Co Down by the St Colman’s Drumaness GAA Club who they play on Saturday morning in Drumaness, Co Down. They then play in either the cup or shield quarterfinal at the St John’s GAA Club in Co Down. Hopefully, they go on to compete in the semi-finals and final on Sunday which will be held in Clonduff GAA Club, Co Down. Best wishes to the team, their mentors, families and supporters making the trip North.
