Ballinamore Sean O heslin’s GAA Club Notes 29/08/2018
Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Championship – In a match with plenty of goals it was our neighbours Aughawillian that came out on top in Saturday’s Senior game with the score 3:09 to 3:11. Its always disappointing to lose to the neighbours and hopefully we can get back to winning ways in the quarter finals.

Blitz – A fantastic day in the pairc on Saturday for our blitz against Mohill, it was a great game enjoyed by all. Special thanks to Mohill for coming over on short notice and of course to all the Parents, Mentors and Players for making it happen
U17 – Well done to our u17 lads who had a great win against Drumkeeran on`Sunday winning by 2:09 to 1:07, next up for the lads is a massive game against St Marys in Carrick at 18:30 on Monday evening, your support for these great lads would be greatly appreciated.
U13 Semi Final – Our lads had a brilliant week of football with two games in 4 days. First up was Fenagh, in a highly contested game in the firat half our lads really lifted the intensity and took over the game in the second half running out winners 5.10 to 1.11. That game seen the lads through to the semi finals where they met Drumkeeran in Drumkeeran on Monday. The game itself was a brilliant match, we lead all the way through the game but Drumkeeran never gave up and our lads held on by sheer grit and determination to book their place in the final. These young lads have put so much work into getting this far and are a credit to the club. They are such a young enthusiastic group that certainly deserve all the success they have had so far , so please get behind these young men and show your support in the final !!
