Fenagh St Caillin’s GAA Club Notes 27/09/2018
Pyramid Bookmakers Junior B Championship – our Junior team overcame a slow start going 8 points down to Leitrim Gaels to fight back with a storming display to reach the championship final. Result Fenagh St Caillins 1.16, Leitrim Gaels 1.11. Our final opposition will be Aughawillan.
Westlink Coaches u15 Championship – our u15 team recorded a good win away to Drumkeeran on Friday evening last winning by 6.12 to 5.03. On Saturday next they are away to Annaduff at 12pm.
Smith Monumentals Leitrim Intermediate Championship – Leitrim Gaels are our opposition once again this weekend in the Intermediate Championship semi final. The game takes place in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada on Saturday at 3.30pm. It’s now time for our supporters to come out in force and give the team and management the support they need to make the final.
Croke Park trip – 19 Fenagh St Caillins u12 players along with their coaches, families and friends headed off on Sunday morning last to participate in the Connacht Gaa Go Games Days. They enjoyed a tour of the stadium and played 60 minutes of excellent football unfazed by the surroundings. Hopefully many of them will grace the same stage again in years to come.
Lotto – the draw took place on Sunday night last in Quinn’s Bar. Jackpot was €2850. Numbers drawn were 6 1 2 4 5 8 3 7. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners on the night were Sean & Lauren Gill (c/o Anthony Gill), Brian Wrynn and Martin Quinn. Yearly ticket holder €20 winner was Padraig Flynn.
