Allen Gaels GAA Club Notes 10/10/2018
Minor Ladies – The ladies were defeated by St. Mary’s in the final in Leitrim Village on Sunday morning. The scoreline doesn’t do justice to the efforts of the girls who were up against a physically imposing St. Marys combination who coped better with the difficult conditions. The majority of the team are eligible again next year and in many cases 2 more years so there will be better days ahead. The team was Niamh McDonagh, Eimear Gibbons, Lauryn McKeon, Edel O’Donnell, Niamh Morahan, Laoise Fee, Roisin McGrenaghan, Caoimhe McGarry, Olwyn Moore, Megan Moran, Zakalina Ozdobinska, Ciara Lynch, Ciara Reynolds, Niamh Nolan, Roslyn Kane, Maria McGrenaghan, Grace McKeon, Abby Collins, Amy Moran, Kaitlyn Dolan, Rachel McGarry, Sarah McLoughlin. Well done to the girls and their management team of Ann Flood, Ciara McTigue and Dermot McDonagh. Many thanks to everyone who helped out in the clubhouse after the game especially Stephen McWeeney.
