Leitrim Gaels GAA Club Notes 10/10/2018

Under 15 Championship – The under 15 team lost out to top of the table Allen Gaels in the championship on Saturday last. They play their final group game against St Marys on Saturday next in Leitrim at 12 noon.

Joe Flynn Tournament – The under 12 team took part in the Joe Flynn tournament on Saturday last in Pairc Naomh Mhuire. The club would like to thank St Mary’s for the invitation and a wonderful day was had.

County Final – Best of Luck to Aughawillan, Mohill, Annaduff and Fenagh in the Senior and Intermediate finals on Sunday.

Poker Night – The Club are holding a poker night on Friday 19th October in the Leitrim Marina Hotel, starting at 9pm. Any inquiries to Mark Chandler.

Leitrim Wall Fundraiser – Any business wishing to purchase a brick in the Leitrim GAA wall, please let the committee know and we will make the county board aware.

Gaeltacht Grants 2019 – Leitrim Co Board GAA in conjunction with Leitrim Co Council is offering grants for attendance at Gaeltacht courses to Leitrim boys and girls as part of their promotion of an Ghaeilge. These grants are open to boys and girls living in County Leitrim. Application forms can be printed from the Leitrim GAA website www.leitrimgaa.ie by searching Gaeltacht Scholarships 2019 or can be had had from the Secretary of any GAA club. The closing date for applications is Friday 26 October 2018.
