Allen Gaels GAA Club Notes 07/11/2018
U-15s – The U-15’s season ended in defeat in Cloone on Friday evening when Mohill deservedly came out on top in the final replay on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-10. The lads struggled with the difficult conditions and were never able to get going whereas Mohill on the other hand adapted much better and built an unassailable lead although we fought right to the end. These players have given tremendous entertainment all season and while they suffered defeat in both league & championship finals they’re very much on an upward curve and we look forward to watching them develop further over the next couple of years. Well done again to the whole panel and a big thank you to Farrell McKeon and Angus Fee for their work with the team and their commitment all year. Thank you also to all the parents for travelling with the team all season and for your continued support. Finally thanks to everyone who helped out in the clubhouse afterwards.
U-20 – Good luck to the U-20 team and management who play the quarter final against St. Josephs in the park on Sunday morning at 11am.
