Kiltubrid GAA Club Notes 07/11/2018
Kiltubrid Lip Sync Legends – Just under 2 weeks to go until the Kiltubrid Lip Sync Legends Night in association with our Main Sponsor North West Tool Hire on Saturday 17th November in the Landmark Central. Acts are currently going to through rigorous rehearsals ahead of the big night. Over the next few weeks, each Act will be holding Mini-Fundraisers in advance of the Lip Sync Legends Night. Please keep an eye on Local and Social Media for upcoming details of the Acts taking part and their Fundraising Events.
Tickets – On Sale now from both Kiltubrid Ladies and Men’s Club Executives. Tickets can also be purchased in Gerties Bar, Rockin Mollies Bar, The Sheemore Inn, The Lakeside Tavern and Talk n Tech. Tickets will also be on sale after Mass in Rantogue & Drumcong this weekend. Please note that this is an Over 18’s Event.
Un15 – Our Un15 Lads finished off the 2018 season with defeated to Annaduff in the Shield Final. Both teams served up an exciting battle in very tough conditions. Well done to all Players, Mentors and Parents for their efforts. Many thanks to Gerties Bar, Kesh for providing after match refreshments.
Quiz Night – Steven Guckian and Maria Quigley are hosting a Quiz Night Fundraiser for their Lip Sync Legends Event Act this Friday 9th November at 9pm in the Sheemore Inn, Kilclare.
Dirty Dancing – The Kiltubrid G4MO Lip Sync Act are hosting a screening of “Dirty Dancing” in Rocking Mollies on the Sat 10th November at 7pm. More details for the events on the night are available on Social Media.
Pool Competition – There will be a Pool Competition in Cardiff’s Lakeside Tavern on Sat 10th November starting at 9pm Sharp. All funds raised will go towards the Lip Sync Legends Event.
See the Ass after Mass – Brian Meehan’s “Donkey Poo Bingo” will take place on Sunday 11th November at 12.30pm in Kiltubrid GAA Park. Lines are still available at €5 each from various local business’
25 Card Drive – Big thank you to everyone who supported the Enda Stenson Lip Sync Fundraiser held last weekend in The Sheemore Inn Kilclare. A great nights Cards playing was had by all!
Sympathy – The Club extends it’s deepest sympathy to the family of the late Padraig Flynn, Driney who passed away recently. Rest in Peace.
Connacht – Well done to Carrick Hurling Club on their great win in the Junior Hurling Championship last weekend. Best of luck to Aughawillan this weekend as they fly the Leitrim flag against Ballintubber.
