Mohill GAA Club Notes 07/11/2018
Under 15 Champions – Finally, after two great games, with a strong, sporting Allen Gaels side playing their part, the Under 15s finally added the Championship title to the League won earlier in the year. We feel the pain for Drumshanbo as Mohill were very lucky on the previous Sunday to draw the game, but these boys never give up and this was a team effort with every lad, big and small playing their part. The club wish to acknowledge the input of the Cloone Club who have made generous contributions and make coaches available to all the underage teams. Well done to Mickey Quinn, Aidan Donohue, Matt Gaffey and John Baxter for looking after the boys during the year.
Lough Rynn Sponsorship – We thank the Lough Rynn Castle for sponsoring food for the players, mentors and a fair amount of supporters following the two Under 15 finals. Lough Rynn Castle and Manager Ciarán Reidy have been generous sponsors to the Club for many years now and Mohill is loooking forward to their continued support. They will hopefully be rewarded by success on the field of play in 2019.
Big Draw – The draw will now take place on December 8th so we need sellers to get going as soon as possible before the Christmas rush.
Under 20 – The first Under 20 Championship will commence next weekend. St Manchan’s will play Fenagh at 11am in Fenagh. Support as always is needed.
Congratulations – Well done to Carrick Hurling on making history in Leitrim by winning the Connacht Junior Club Championship on Saturday last. A great boost for hurling in Leitrim.
Lotto – No winner of the jackpot. Lucky dip winners were €70 Maura Heslin Cornageeha. €40 Mary McGushin Castle St.€20 Patrick Mitchell Drumcolligan. Next weeks Jackpot is €6800
