Kiltubrid GAA Club Notes 20/12/2018

AGM – A well attended AGM took place last Friday 14th December.  Chairperson Emmet Mahon addressed the Meeting and spoke about the great progress made in 2018 with an eye to building on this progress in 2019.  Secretary Sheila Guckian detailed the busy year of Club Activities throughout 2018 on and off the field.  Out-going Treasurer Eoin Meehan delivered healthy Financial Accounts for both Club and Park Accounts for 2018.  Officers returned for 2019:  Chairperson Emmet Mahon, Secretary Sheila Guckian, Treasurer Dermot McKeon, Asst Treasurers Kevin Nealon & Eoin Meehan, Registrar Vincent Lee, Development & Insurance Officer PJ Meehan, Cultural Officer Maria Fallon, Park Bookings Kealen McKeon and IT Officer Eoin Meehan.
St Stephen’s Day Charity Match- Our Annual Charity Match will take place on Wed 26th Dec in Pairc Cill Tiobraid.  This is a great opportunity for all players past and present to burn off the Christmas Dinner Calories and raise money for a worthy cause.  Full details on the Match will be on Facebook and Twitter in the next few days.
 
Season’s Greetings – As we enter the Festive Period, Kiltubrid GAA wish all our Supporters at Home and Abroad a very Happy Christmas.  We also take this opportunity to thank John Connolly in the Leitrim Observer and Declan Bohan Leitrim GAA PRO for all their assistance and support throughout 2018.

Volleyball All-Ireland – Hard luck to Drumshanbo Vocactional School, as they were defeated by Loughrea College in the All-Ireland Senior Boy’s Final.  Kiltubrid were well represented on the team with Captain Diarmuid MacThiarnan, Sean McNabola, Barry McWeeney and Peter Winters.
