Club Membership – Club membership is now due. If anyone missed the registration night last Friday please contact the club registrar Neil Nolan. All players at every level must have membership paid before they are aloud to take to the field for training or games and unpaid members will not be aloud to gain entry to the club gym. Membership rates are as follows: family membership €100, Adult playing members both male and female €70, Adult playing members who are students both male and female €40, Juvenile playing members U-18 €40, Non playing members €60, Mothers & Others €60. Leitrim GAA Supporters Club – The Annual Fundraising Draw will be launched on Thursday night January 17th in Croke Park. Doors open at 7pm with the event getting underway 7.30pm sharp. Light refreshments will be served during the interval. A special draw will take place for those who buy a Supporters Club ticket or take a booklet to sell. The night will conclude at 10 pm. Leitrim Person of the Year Seamus O’Rourke is the special guest and new Leitrim senior manager Terry Hyland will be interviewed. Club supporters in Dublin are encouraged to go along to support. There is a free bus going to the event leaving from the swimming pool at 4pm. Please contact Leitrim GAA Secretary Attracta O Reilly at 0861708499 to book your seat.
Lotto – There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €4600 with the numbers 8-12-15-27 drawn out. The 5 €20 winners are Senan Lee; Aughnahoo, Drumcong, Aidan Heron; Drumshanbo, Philip Fox; Drumshanbo, Sharon McTiernan; Mahanagh, Gerry Kelly; Carrick-on-Shannon. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €4700. Thanks again to everyone for all your continued support.
Good Luck – The club would like to wish Carrick Hurling the very best of luck in their All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling semi-final this Sunday in Mullingar.
25 Card Drive – The card game continues in Aras Padraig every Sunday night at 8:30pm. All welcome.
Sympathy: The Club extends deepest condolences to the Flynn family Drumharvour on the passing of Ciaras Grandmother Ellen Shorthall who passed away in Laois last week, also to the McLoughlin family Ardcolm on the sad passing of Mark and also to the McLoughlin family Carrick road on the passing of Monicas brother Martin Joe Garvey who passed away in Mayo at the weekend.
Congrats – Congrats to Paul Gibbons & Aisling Flynn who announced their engagement over the festive season.
Best of luck – Best of luck to the Leitrim ladies County Board who formed a new committee at the special meeting held in our club rooms on Saturday evening last. A special word to our club representatives Aidan Heron who took the role of Chairperson & also to Ann Flood who is on the fixtures committee.
