Lotto – There was no winner of Monday’s Lotto Jackpot of €4800 with the numbers 2-6-25-27 drawn out. The 5 winners of €20 are: Michael Rynn; Ballinaglaera. Mary Sweeney; Cootehall, Jody Barry; Roscunnish, Padraig Kenny; Drumshanbo & Pat Mc Manus; Drumshanbo. Next weeks jackpot now stands at €4900. Thank you again for all your support.
DVS – Hard luck to the DVS Cadette A volleyball team who were defeated in the all Ireland final last Wednesday.
Congrats Ciaran – congrats to Ciaran Mc Morrow who was awarded Leitrim Juvenile Handballer of the year at the awards night last Friday.
Senior team – The appointment of James Wynne as Senior Manager was confirmed at the weekend. We wish James and all the lads the very best of luck for the year ahead.
25 Card Drive – The card game continues in Aras Padraig every Sunday night at 8:30pm. All welcome.
Tony Mc Gowan Run – The 7th annual run takes place on Sunday the 17th of February. This year they are introducing a half marathon run as well as the usual 2.5k, 5k &10k. The event is organised by Drumshanbo Athletic Club in association with Waterways Ireland and if anyone is available to help out on the day please contact Oisin Dolan.
Club Membership – Club membership is now due. Anyone who missed the registration night recently can still join by contacting the registrar, Neil Nolan or any club officer.
Sympathy – The Club extends deepest condolences to the Wynne family on the passing of Pauls Sister Mary Wynne, also to the Boyle family on the passing of Andrews mother Eileen Boyle. May they rest in peace.
Leitrim – Well done to Diarmaid and all the Leitrim team and management on a fantastic victory over Wexford last Sunday, hopefully, they can keep it up this Sunday away to Wicklow. Also great to see Alan Loftus back home and involved as team doctor.
Race Night – The annual Allen Gaels GAA Race night is coming around again and will take place on Saturday 9th February in Conway’s Corner House at 9pm. Horses are now available to purchase so please contact any club officer or adult player, also if any business would like to take out an add in the booklet again please contact any club officer.
