Mohill GAA Club Notes 30/01/2019
County Team – We thank the County team and Management for lifting our spirits on Sunday last, with an emphatic win over Wexford in the NFL. While we had a star performance from Fenagh’s young Ryan O Rourke all the players can hold their heads high including Mohill’s two men, Shane Quinn and Domhnaill Flynn. Best of luck to the team next weekend when Wicklow is the opposition in Aughrim.
Alan McLoughlin – We wish Alan McLoughlin a speedy recovery following his cruciate repair last week. Alan will be missed for the next few months from the Mohill and Leitrim panels. Alan Armstrong is another of our casualties with a broken arm, so we hope his recovery is rapid also.
Kathleen Reynolds RIP – We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Kathleen Reynolds, Eslin who passed away last week. Kathleen was the grandmother to present underage players Gearóid Reynolds and Cormac White and former player Michael Reynolds. Her granddaughter Cliodhna Reynolds is also an underage physio with the club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
Opel Sponsorship – We thank Kieran Walpole from Central Motors for the generous sponsorship of training tops for the Under 17s. Opel has been very generous over the years to the underage and we look forward to their continued support.
