Cloone GAA Club Notes 13/02/2019

All members are asked to renew their membership for 2019 at these times. New members are always welcome.

Membership fees are as follows:

Adult player €50

Student Player €30

Family membership €40

Gym membership €40

Social membership €20

Anyone using the track, must have Club Membership for insurance purposes.

Allianz League – Well done to Leitrim who secured a great win against Antrim in Avantcard Pairc Sean MacDiarmada, on Sunday last. Well done to the team and management. The next game is an away game versus Limerick in 2 weeks time.

Leitrim Ladies  – Well done to the Leitrim Ladies who secured a win against Derry in Aughnasheelin. The scoreline was 3.03 to 0.08. Well done to our own Patrica Forde who was representing Cloone.

Cloone Lights Up – Operation Transformation: Ireland Lights Up will continue for another 2 Thursday’s the 14th and 21st of February from 7-9pm. Well done to all who have taken part, it has proved to be a very successful initiative again this year. New people are always welcome.

Mock Exams – Wishing all the Junior & Leaving Cert students good luck in their mock exams.

Club Lotto – The next club Lotto draw will take place in McKeons Bar next Saturday the 16th.

Thank You – The club wishes to extend a huge thank you to Gerry McGovern for all the work he has put in as club PRO over the past number of years. Fulfilling the role was much appreciated, given the huge time commitments he has as Uachtarán Comhairle Connacht. Gerry’s historical notes, reminiscing on times past were hugely popular not just in Cloone but further afield. Mile buíochas Gerry and no doubt you will never be too far away when advice or guidance is needed.
