Allen Gaels GAA Club Notes 07/03/2019
Division 3 – The adult leagues kicked off last weekend and we had a good win over an under-strength Glenfarne Kiltyclogher in the park on Saturday. Well done to the lads it was great to see big numbers out early in the season especially notable was the number of young players making their adult debuts with Eoin Smith, Chris McCrum, Colin Moran, Gareth Gilmartin & Cathal Reynolds all featuring. Colin with 1-05 & Gareth with 1-01 made a big impact and we hope to see a couple of others getting game time in the coming weeks, We play Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins at home this Saturday at 4:30pm. Well done to the management team of Cyril McKeon, Danny Egan & James Wynne.
U-17’s –The lads play Mohill on Wednesday evening at 6:45pm and we are away to Glencar Manorhamilton in the next round. We have a number of injuries at the moment to we wish those players a speedy recovery and good luck to the team and to Farrell and Angus.
