Annaduff National School – Hard luck to the management and players from the School boys team who narrowly lost out to Leitrim NS on Saturday last in the Division 1 Cup final held in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada. At the break the Annaduff lads led by 3 points but Leitrim seemed to get on top in the second half. Finishing out Annaduff 2-04 to Leitrim 1-08. But none the less a brilliant achievement for the players to play at the highest level in the competition. No doubt in a few short years their names will be well known on the Annaduff senior and Leitrim panel.
Connacht Championship – Hard luck to our Club representatives on the County scene last weekend. With Aine Fitzpatrick with the U16s Leitrim Girls, Jack Hughes on the Leitrim Minors where Leitrim hosted Mayo in Ballinamore on Friday evening and Viv Egan on the Leitrim Senior Ladies who hosted Roscommon in Carrick on Shannon.
