Tailteann Cup – Seedings 2025
The GAA have confirmed the seedings for the Tailteann Cup draw, which will take place at 1.30pm tomorrow Wednesday, April 30th and will be broadcast live on GAA.ie and the GAA YouTube channel.
Leitrim are 3rd Seeds so will be away in the first round to either Fermanagh, Kildare, Offaly or Westmeath. The second round will be home to either Laois, Limerick, Sligo or Wexford and round three will be at a neutral venue to one of Longford, London, Tipperary or Waterford.
We await the draw for the groupings which commences at 1:30pm tomorrow !
First Seeds:
Fermanagh, Kildare, Offaly, Westmeath.
Second Seeds:
Laois, Limerick, Sligo, Wexford.
Third seeds:
Antrim, Carlow, Leitrim, Wicklow.
Fourth seeds:
Longford, London, Tipperary, Waterford.
Schedule:
Round 1 – (10/11 May)
Seed 1 v Seed 3
Seed 2 v Seed 4
Seed 1 & 2 will have home venue for round 1
Round 2 – (17/18 May)
Seed 3 v Seed 2
Seed 4 v Seed 1
Seed 3 & 4 will have home venue for round 2
Round 3 – (31 May/1 June)
Seed 1 v Seed 2
Seed 3 v Seed 4
Games will be played at neutral venues for round 3
The top team in each group will advance to the quarter-finals on w/e June 14th-15th (Saturday/Sunday)
The second placed teams advance to the preliminary quarter-finals where they will be drawn against New York and the three best placed teams who finish third in their group on w/e June 7th-8th (Saturday/Sunday)
Semi-Finals: w/e June 21st-22nd (Saturday/Sunday)
Tailteann Cup Final: July 12th (Saturday)
