Condolences – The club wishes to sympathise sincerely with the O Brien and Creamer families from Drumshanbo and Ballinaglera on the recent death of Kelly O Brien. Our thoughts and prayers are with her parents, Paddy and Maura, brothers Mark and Conor and sister Sonya, along with her extended family members and friends. May they find strength at this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Swan Bar Div 4 League Final – We play Sean O Heslins in the final. Please check fixtures for details. At time of going to print the fixture wasn’t finalised. Best of luck to the team and management in the final. Please support.

Dunners Bar Div 1 league – We play Gortlettragh Wednesday 11^th (today) at 8pm in Ballinaglera. We also play Saturday evening 14^th against Sean O Heslins at 6.30pm in Ballinamore. Best of luck to the team and management.

Ladies – Intermediate championship begins Sunday morning at 11am against Mohill in Ballinamore. Good luck to the team and management. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

LCC adopt a road program – We are taking part in Leitrim County Council adopt a road litter maintenance scheme and volunteers are needed to take part in the collection of litter from the roadside today, Wednesday 20^th June. Anyone interested in helping out please meet at the football pitch in Ballinaglera at 8.15pm.

Juniors – Well done to our Junior team and management on their great win over St. Mary’s on Sunday. Keep up the great work.

Club meeting – Takes place this Thursday 21^st June at 9.30pm sharp in the community centre.

Membership – There remain a number of people who have not paid their membership yet. Please give it to Sean McMorrow ASAP.

Seniors – Best of luck to the senior team as they take on Drumkeerin in Drumkeerin this Saturday at 7pm. Well done on their recent victory over St. Mary’s. It was great to see the hard work paying off for the lads and the management team. They played with great heart and determination throughout the game. With the same work rate and attitude, we can look forward to more victories in the coming weeks. Keep up the good work.

Juniors – Well done to the Juniors who had a comprehensive victory over Ballinamore in division 4 on Sunday morning. Keep up the great work.

Leitrim – Hard luck to Leitrim who lost to Roscommon on Saturday in the Connaught semi final.

Race night – Please return all money from the race night to Pauric Loughlin before Sunday.

Speedy recovery – We wish John Flynn a speedy recovery from a recent injury. John is always a great help to the club when needed to record games. His selfless commitment and time is much appreciated and we hope he is back on his feet very soon.

Race night – We would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed in any way in making our recent race night a successful one. Thank you to all the sponsors, to everyone who bought and sold tickets and those who helped out in any way on the night. Your help and support is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to the Melrose Inn.

Ladies – Hard luck to St. Francis ladies who lost out to Oughteragh Gaels by 3.9 to 1.9 in the div 2 league final last Saturday evening. The ladies put in a hard-working performance and led by one point at the break. Unfortunately, they were unable to get the scores they needed in the second half to claw back the concession of two second-half goals. They left everything on the pitch and tried their best till the very end. We wish them the best of luck as they dust themselves down and prepare for the championship. Well done to Oughteragh Gaels on their victory. A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the girls. Thanks also to Scollans Gala for the lovely meal after the game.

Dunnes Bar Seniors – Hard luck to the senior team as they lost out to Melvin Gaels on Saturday evening. The lads are training hard and we’ve no doubt a win in division 1 will come soon for them. Keep up the hard work. Best of luck on Sunday as they play St. Mary’s in Ballinaglera at 12 o clock.

Condolences – The club would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Susan Gilmartin and her family of Stranagarvana on the recent death of her sister Josie Niland who died recently in London. May she rest in peace.

Race night – With the Aintree Grand National all over for another year, it’s time to turn our attention to our Annual Race night which takes place on Sunday night 6^th May at 9.30pm sharp in the Melrose Inn, Dowra. Please return all cards by this Thursday 26^th April to Pauric Loughlin.

Swan Bar Division 4 League – Well done to the Junior team who beat Dromahair last Saturday. Best of luck to the team and management this Sat evening away against Bornacoola at 7pm.

Ladies – Well done to St. Francis ladies who bet Drumkeerin in Ballinaglera last Sunday. They play Manorhamilton away this weekend in the last round of the group games. Keep the winning streak going. Please check fixtures for details.

Underage training – Every Sunday morning at 11am in the park. All primary school boys and girls are welcome.

Seniors – Hard luck to the senior team who lost out to Leitrim Gaels in round two of the league on Saturday evening. On a positive note it was great to see the new scoreboard in operation, keeping everyone updated! Best of luck this Saturday against Fenagh at 7pm in Fenagh. You’re support is greatly appreciated as always.

Juniors – Well done to the junior team on their win over Kiltubrid on Easter Monday.

Ladies – Well done to the St. Francis ladies who kept their unbeaten record going against Mohill on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 2.13 to 9 points. Their next game is against Drumkeerin on the 22nd April.

Race night – Our race night will take place Sunday 6th May in the Melrose Inn in Dowra. Horses are available from club members at 10 euro each. Please return the cards to Pauric Loughlin by the 29th April.

Club meeting – Next club meeting is Tuesday 17th April at 9.30pm Sharp in the community hall.

Leitrim GAA Strategic Plan – Coiste Chontae Liatroma CLG is in the process of producing a Strategic Development Plan for the next three years.

As part of the consultation process, adult members of the GAA in Leitrim are being asked for their views under a number of headings. Every voice is important and this online survey is an important part of the consultation. So please give your views and opinions. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
