IFC – We got our second win in the Smith Monumentals IFC on Sunday last beating our neighbours Mohill by 5-13 to 1-13. Well done to the players and management. Our next game is against our other neighbours Annaduff on Saturday 11th in Ballinamore at 7pm. It was great to see good support for the lads on Sunday, and let’s hope ye can all make it to Ballinamore on Saturday evening. Best of luck to the team and management.

Smith Monumentals IFC – We got our championship off to a good start at the weekend beating Ballinamore on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-10. Well done to the team and managment. Next up

Sympathy – The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family of Mary ( Mel ) Logan Annaghderg, Gorvagh, who died recently. May her soul rest in peace.

Championship – After a great win in the league final it is now time to focus on the championship. The Smith Monumentals Intermediate Championship kicks off for us on Sunday next the 29th where we take on Ballinamore in Pairc Sean at 12pm. Best of luck to the team and management and let’s hope we can get off to a winning start. Please come out and support the lads and get behind them for the championship.

League Final – The league final takes place this Saturday evening in Pairc Sean at 7.30pm. We take on Aughavas in what will be a tight and exciting game. Even though both teams are already promoted to division 2 league next year it would be nice to end the league with the silverware in hand. We are asking everyone to come out with flags flying and support and cheer on the lads, and hopefully bring the cup back to the bridge. Best of luck to the players and management.

Swan Bar League – Fenagh conceded the last league game on Sunday, which now means we book a place in the league final against Aghavas which will be played in Pairc Sean on Saturday 14th July.

Online Shop – As we are in the league final you can go online and visit our shop and get your navy and blue gear. Order now and have it in time for final day.

League – The lads had another great win on Sunday beating Allen Gaels 6-20 to 1-12. The final league game is on Sunday against Fenagh in Fenagh at 12pm. Best of luck.

Leitrim – Well done to the Leitrim Seniors on a brilliant win over Louth in the All-Ireland qualifiers on Saturday evening. They now face Monaghan in the next round, best of luck to all involved.

Sympathy – The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the family of Mary Kennedy Finiskil who passed away last Sunday. Mary was a dedicated Leitrim and Mohill supporter and a brilliant club person and she will be sadly missed. May her soul rest in peace.

Annual Lotto – The annual lotto is now up for renewal. Letters will be posted out to houses and we would hope that people will join up for the year. It is €100 for the year and you will be included in 52 draws, or €50 for 6 months and you be included in 26 draws. League – The lads had another great win on Sunday beating Drumkeeran 6-15 to 3-09. This now means that they are promoted to division 2 league next year, and have booked a place in the division 3 league final. Congrats – Congratulations to our club treasurer Claire Faughnan and her husband David Faughnan on the birth of their son Jack. Best of luck to them for the future.

Online shop – We now have our very own online shop set up, where anyone can buy their own tops, hoodies, hats, jerseys etc., in the colours of Eslin. These items are all available in adult and kids sizes and are all keenly priced. If you type in Eslin GAA online shop on google you will be able to get access and look through all the items that are available.

Eslin GAA Club Notes 08/05/2018

Leitrim – Well done to the Leitrim senior team and management on beating New York by the narrowest of margins on Sunday last. They now go on to play our neighbours Roscommon on Saturday 26th in Pairc Sean, best of luck to all involved.
