Leitrim GAA Supporters Club will charter a bus to next Sunday’s Allianz League Division 4 League encounter with Waterford in Fraher Field, Dungarvan if there are sufficient numbers interested. Leitrim Co Board GAA in conjunction with Comhairle Contae Liatroma is offering grants for attendance at Gaeltacht courses to Leitrim boys and girls as part of their promotion of an Ghaeilge. These grants are open to boys and girls living in County Leitrim. Application forms can be downloaded from the link below or can be had from the Secretary of any GAA club. Beidh na hiarratais le fáil i ngach meanscoil sa Chontae freisin.
Completed application forms should be sent to Oifigeach Cultúra agus Teanga Leitrim GAA, Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, Carrick-on- Shannon, Co Leitrim.
The closing date for applications is Friday 18 March 2022. A draw will be made to select the successful candidates. When students return from the Gaeltacht, they can claim their grant money on the production of evidence of having successfully completed the course.

Leitrim GAA Management Committee has been asked to clarify if it is a beneficiary of any 2022 Leitrim GAA Wall Planner/Calendar. For clarity Leitrim GAA categorically states that the only current fundraiser that it is a current beneficiary of is the 50 Mile January Challenge.
Leitrim GAA is very pleased that its latest newsletter has included recognition for our County Final Match Programmes in view of the fact that its attention to detail recorded the townlands of the various players involved. County PRO Barbara Loughlin Byrne is the Leitrim GAA PRO responsible for the production of the Match Programmes and the inclusion of the minute detail of the players’ townlands has been in operation over the past decade, a brainchild of former Leitrim County Librarian, Ballinamore man, Seán Ó Súilleabháin.

This eagerly awaited contest between holders Mohill and challengers Ballinamore Sean O Heslin’s will throw in on the day at 3.45pm from Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada.
