Thursday July 17th Round 5 of U12 Championship. Intermediate Team:
Massive congratulations to our Intermediate team who defeated Sligo in the Connacht Intermediate Championship last Sunday. After being down by 5 points at half time, Leitrim dominated the second half to win by 4 points. Final score Leitrim 3-12 Sligo 1-14. Also congratulations to Aine Tighe who was named Player of the Match after Scóring 2-5.
U12 Development Squad:
The U12 Development Squad are away this Saturday for a Connacht Blitz in Ballyhaunis, best of luck to the Girls.
U16 County Team:
U16s have their 5th Round of Championship this Saturday 12th July @ 6.30pm in Croghan were they take on Roscommon.
U12 Championship:
U12 Championship continues this Thursday for all clubs involved.
Level One Referee Course:
The first day of the Referee Course was last Saturday July 5th and the second day is this Saturday July 12th at 9:45am in the Mayflower Drumshambo at 9:45am.
Coxs Steakhouse Club Championship Fixtures:
This Sunday the 13th of July sees the Round 1 of the Coxs Steakhouse Club Championship for both Senior and Intermediate. In Senior St Josephs vs Dromahair, Kiltubrid vs Mohill, Glencar Manorhamilton vs Aughawillan. In Intermediate Drumkeerin vs Oughteragh Gaels, St Francis vs Cloone

This Sunday the 6th July is a big day for Leitrim Ladies as they take on Sligo in the Intermediate Connacht Football Final – Throw in 1:30pm in Elverys McHale Park Castlebar. We wish the ladies and management the very best of luck!
U10 Blitz
Fenagh Ladies and Kiltubrid Ladies are joining together this Saturday the 5th of July to host an U10 County Blitz. The Blitz is going to be held in Fenagh St Caillins pitch and will be starting at approx 10:30am. All clubs are encouraged to take part and anyone interested can contact Yeonette ORourke Leitrim Ladies Development Officer.
Level 1 Referee Course
Leitrim Ladies will be holding a Referee Course for new referees and it will be taking place over a 2 day period. Anyone willing to take part in the course must be over 17 years. The first day is this Saturday July 5th in the Mayflower Drumshanbo at 9:45am and the second day is July 12th at 9:45am in the Mayflower Drumshanbo at 9:45am. Please contact Development Officer Yeonette ORourke. Limited amount of spaces.

Leitrim Ladies GFA launched their Annual Juice Plus Dawn Run on Thursday June 5th in The Landmark Hotel. Leitrim LGFA are delighted to have Damien Brennan & Juice Plus on Board again as their main sponsor. This is the Fourth year of the Juice Plus Dawn Run & it takes place on June 21st at 6am in St Marys Club House. Along with first man & lady Juice Plus Dawn Run have introduced four new categories, first man & lady over 55 & first Junior Boy & Girl U20. The Intermediate Ladies take on Roscommon in the second round of the Connacht Intermediate Championship at 7pm in Ballinamore this Friday, 16th of May.
16 County Team
The U16s are out this weekend in the second round of the championship at home to Roscommon at 1pm in Annaduuf. Best of luck to the girls!
U14 Country Team
Hard luck to the U14s who lost to Galway in the Connacht B Final last Sunday. Well done to Dearbhla Rooney who was awarded Player of the Match on the day.
LGFA President to Visit Leitrim
Pat Quill, President of the LGFA will be visiting the county on Wednesday 21st May. He will visit the following schools: St Clares Manorhamilton at 9.30am, Ardvarney Dromahair at 10.30am, Ballinamore GNS at 12.15pm, Mohill NS at 1.15pm,and St Marys NS at 2.15pm.

Condolences:

Intermediate Team:
Well done to the Intermediate team who beat Tipperary in Round 7 of the NFL Division 3 League. The semi final will take place in three weeks time against Waterford. Date and Time TBC.
