Allen Gaels Club Notes
Club Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €3,900. The numbers drawn were 20, 23, 10 & 21. Lucky Dip winners of €20 each were Rosemary Casserly, Margaret McPartland (Church St.), Tony Conway, Kevin Egan (Longford) & Donna Gilrane. Winnings may be collected in Hegarty’s Centra from Thursday following the draw. Our next draw will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 7th, 2025 when the jackpot will stand at €4,000. We extend sincere thanks to all for your continued support and to those businesses who stock our Lotto envelopes.
Fundraiser: Both Allen Gaels and St. Francis Ladies will join forces to raise funds for newly –born baby Harrison Francis Smith (son of Eoin Smith) on St. Stephen’s Day at 1.00pm in Shane McGettigan Park. The event will be a Mixed Team Mini Games series which should prove to be very entertaining and enjoyable. Admission is optional. Please try and lend your support if at all possible.
Juvenile Awards: The presentation of the Juvenile Awards has been re-scheduled and will now take place in The Mayflower on Saturday, December 28th next. The original event which was due to be held on Sunday, December 8th, did not go ahead because of the effects of Storm Darragh.
Sympathy: The club extends its sincere sympathy to the Mullaney and Dwyer families on the passing of Mary Mullaney, Grattan Ave. and to the McKeon family following the death of Bernadette’s brother, Joseph Brennan, Balbriggan & Ballinamore. Go raibh leaba I measc na naomh acu.
Christmas Wishes: We wish all our members and supporters a very happy, peaceful and relaxing Christmas as you celebrate the festive season with family and friends. Nollaig Shona dhaoibh go léir.
