    FBD League 2011 Leitrim 1-8 v 1-5 Roscommon

Ballinamore 15th January 2011 Referee: Marty Duffy

The picturesque town of Ballinamore was the setting for the latest instalment of Leitrim v Roscommon, this time in the Connacht FBD League.

All too often in the past, Leitrim supporters were left wondering what might have been but not today as we witnessed a whole hearted Leitrim team get their just reward for a committed and consistent 60minutes performance

The winning team were cheered throughout the contest by their loyal supporters but none so more than at the final whistle when they were given a rapturous round of applause as they returned to a WINNING DRESSING ROOM.

There was an air of confidence as we all left Pairc Sean Uí hEislin today. We had witnessed:-

A much needed and richly deserved win

A home grown management team on home soil

and a talented Leitrim football team
