Cash on Delivery
GeneralCash on Delivery
This Sunday (13th Feb) there will be a special performance of Drumkeerin Drama Groups Production – Cash on Delivery. The play is taking place in aid of Drumkeerin GAA club.
Last weekend the troupe enjoyed a sell out three-night stint in Drumkeerin Community Centre and Drumkeerin GAA are thankful that they have agreed to add an extra date to their busy schedule to raise some much needed funds for the club. Written by Michael Cooney – Cash on Delivery – is centred around mild-mannered Eric, who has been cheating Social Welfare for years. His scam begins to unravel in chaotic fashion when inspectors show up unexpectedly at his door.
There are some familiar faces from the club involved in the production and everyone who attends will be guaranteed a laugh. The show starts at 8.30pm sharp, on Sunday night in the Community Centre, so be early to avoid disappointment.

Leitrim v Wicklow Preview
County FootballLeitrim will be hoping to put back to back victories together this Sunday when they welcome Wicklow to headquarters in Carrick on Shannon.
Leitrim got their Division 4 campaign off to the perfect start last Sunday with a hard-earned one point victory over the Banner men while Wicklow shared the points with neighbours Carlow in an away fixture. Mick O’Dwyer and Mickey Moran will patrol the sidelines again and both will be anxious to collect the two points on offer. In the corresponding fixture last year, Wicklow were victorious on home soil – hopefully home advantage will help swing the tie in Leitrims favour on Sunday.
A big crowd is expected in Carrick on Shannon so be amongst them and get behind our County Team.
Throw in 2.30 pm. The Leitrim Panel will be released on the Website this Friday morning at 8am.
