The County Finals of Scór na nÓg took place last Sunday in the Bee Park Centre, Manorhamilton. Fourteen of the county clubs took to the stage to give their best polished performance to an eager audience and most importantly the Mayo judges. Karl Mc Cartin, Drumreilly, hosted the afternoons competition as Fear a TÃ. Medals were presented to the winners by Glencar/Manorhamiltons 3 in a row captain, Dominic Kelly. Results as follows:

GAA Games Development Conference 2010
The National coaching & games development conference postponed in December, due to poor weather conditions will take place on Saturday next in Croke Park. Tickets issued for the December date will be valid for Saturday next. No new bookings can be taken as we have been advised by Croke Park that the conference is again fully booked.
Coonacht GAA club Forum All clubs please note that the Connacht club forum will take place on Saturday, February 5th 2011 in the T.F Royal complex in Castlebar. All clubs in County Leitrim should ensure that a minimum of three officers attend this event. Full details have been forwarded to all club secretaries and are also available on both the Leitrim and Connacht GAA websites.
Foundation award Course
The first of our 2011 foundation award coaching courses will take place in Manorhamilton on Friday January 21st & Saturday 22nd. The Friday evening session will commence at 7pm with a 10am start on Saturday. All those interested in taking the course are asked to reserve their place by contacting coaching officer Padraig McGourty or games Manager Thomas Keenan. Places will be limited to a max of 20 and must be booked in advance.

Gaeltacht Scholarships
Club FootballLeitrim Co Board GAA is offering Gaeltacht Scholarships to Leitrim boys and girls as
part of their promotion of an ghaeilge.
These grants are open to registered and paid-up members of Leitrim clubs, boys or
girls. Anyone who received a scholarship in previous years is not eligible to apply
again.
A draw will be made from the applications received at the February meeting of the
Co Board and the successful candidates make their own arrangements to attend a
college of their choice. When they return they can claim their scholarship money on
production of evidence of having successfully completed the course.
Application forms can be printed from here or can be had had from the Secretary of any GAA club or from Máire Ní Mhaoilbhlia, Oifigeach Cultúir agus Teanga, (087 6486967)

Coiste na nÓgCounty minor trials take place in Kiltubrid next Sunday 16th January @ 10am. Clubs please ensure all your players are in attendance at 9-45am for registration.

Postponed FBD Games Rescheduled
County FootballThe Connacht FBD League games postponed at the weekend have been rescheduled for Sunday, January 30th.
The games, between Leitrim-Mayo and RoscommonÓgMIT, fell victim to the inclement weather conditions across the country on Sunday.
Leitrim will now take on Mayo in Ballinamore, while Roscommon welcome GMIT to Ballyforan.
Both games take place on Sunday 30th at 2pm.
Tickets purchased by patrons at either venue last weekend can be used at any of the Connacht Football FBD League Fixtures 2011, excluding the final.

The unveiling of the new Senior Manager and its background team will

A reminder to all clubs that the reconvening of the AGM is taking place
on the 15th January at 6pm in the Bush Hotel. This meeting is of the
utmost importance as positions still need to be filled.
