Public viewing of stand a big success
GeneralThe decision to invite people to visit the facility over two days last weekend proved to be a huge success with supporters coming from all over the country to view what is your facility put there on behalf of all Leitrim people by Leitrim GAA.
Approx. 1,100 visitors took the time to tour the new facility over the assigned 10 hour visiting period. Your good wishes and continued financial support to date has been a source of great encouragement so that we can on your behalf bring to Leitrim – training, playing and spectator facilities in line with the most modern within the GAA.
The stand will be opened this weekend but the Get on Team campaign will continue to operate over the Summer until such time as the cost of the stand is paid for. The total cost of the facility is approx. 3 million and we need to raise the outstanding amount of approx. 750,000 through donations or through the Get on the Team campaign. This campaign is open to all individuals and is particularly appealing to those who pay tax at 20% or 41%. If you are not on the tax system you can still make a donation and your contribution will be acknowledged.
Its your GAA grounds so please help out by making a donation or running a fund-raising campaign in your local area !
