Juvenile Stand €5  (NOTE: Cusack Stand only)
Students/Oap €15  (Concession on Cusack stand tickets at Block D with valid ID)


Our final  is confirmed for 3pm on Saturday as part of a double header with the Division 2 final.

 

Attached is a list of shops and venues in Leitrim and surrounding counties that will have tickets for the Allianz Division 4 Final from next Monday, March 25th.

Rúnaí Attracta O Reilly will also have tickets for anyone wishing to purchase them from the Leitrim GAA County Board. Text Attracta at 086-1708499 or email secretary.leitrim@gaa.ie if you wish to be placed on a list for tickets.

There will also have a two-hour open evening on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th next week from 5pm to 7pm in Avantcard Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada for anyone who wishes to purchase tickets without previously having booked them.

Leitrim Wall Foundations In Progress at Centre of Excellence

The work has commenced on the first stage of the Leitrim Wall at the Centre of Excellence in Annaduff and work has been ongoing over the past eight days. At the very outset, Martin Baxter of Brackley Landscaping took charge of the contract and over the past number of days things have begun to move in a very positive direction with the foundation laying and associated groundworks. We are delighted to have advanced the project to this stage and in thanking the many who have contributed to this fundraising effort since it was launched in New York last May and closer to home over the Summer months, we continue to appeal to all who may have an interest in getting involved in this initiative that now is the time!!

If you wish to have your name remembered forever as having contributed to the development of the Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence at Annaduff and the development of Gaelic games in the County, please contact any of the following.People who have received brochures can return to any committee member or directly to the Centre office at Annaduff. 2019 Connacht Scór Sinsir Finals – Glory for Aughnasheelin.

One Connacht title for Leitrim in this year’s Connacht Scór Sinsir Finals last Sunday in Balla. Aughnasheelin took home the only title in the Ballad Group

The first Leitrim performance to take to the stage was St Marys in the figure dance. The ladies gave a fabulous performance but St Dominic’s in Roscommon danced through to the All-Ireland.

In Solo Singing Michael Burke of Ballinderreen, Galway won the Connacht title seeing off Leitrim’s Sinead Egan of Aughnasheelin.

Achill of Mayo took the Instrumental Music in a very talented and diverse music competition, winning over Leitrim’s 5 St Mary’s ladies team who received great rapture from the audience but unfortunately not the judges choice and Achill retained the win for Mayo for a second year.

Recitation was a very entertaining competition and Mick Rock of Elphin, Roscommon, was declared the winner. Credit to St Mary’s Kathy Butler and her witty piece representing Leitrim so well.

Leiriu winner was Elphin of Roscommon, Leitrim had no entry in this competition.

Aughnasheelin made a welcome comeback in Set Dance. Despite a steady solid performance it went once again to Aughamore of Mayo.

The All-Ireland Finals will be held in The Royal Theatre, Traveller’s Friend hotel, Castlebar, Co Mayo on Saturday, April 13th at 3pm. Please note it is a ticket only event, tickets are priced at €20 (adult) €10 (u16). Please note tickets are non-refundable once any order is placed. They can be ordered through your club officer or county board officials. All orders must be placed by MARCH 27TH.

Latest Handball News 07/03/2019

Last Sunday Leitrim hosted the Connaught A Juvenile Finals in Drumshanbo and Fenagh Handball Clubs. Seven finals were played in Drumshanbo and six in Fenagh. This is the top level of Handball in Connaught and saw players from all 5 Connaught counties coming to Leitrim. The only Leitrim player taking part in the competition was Ciaran McMorrow from Drumshanbo Handball Club. Ciaran was narrowly beaten in the final by Cormac Finn from Sligo and came away with the Silver Connaught Medal.

Leitrim Handball would like to thank all the volunteers who took part in the event, the Referees, the Ladies who provided food and to all the supporters on the day.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 25th March through Supervalu Local Stores, online and via Leitrim County Secretary Attracta O Reilly by emailing to secretary.leitrim@gaa.ie

Clubs who wish to purchase tickets for Under 16 Groups may do so directly through their Club Secretaries. These may be purchased in Groups of 10 with one supervising adult free per 10.
